After receiving such a beautiful flower from a special soul, I wondered what might it symbolize? What is the meaning of these blue orchids? I learned that orchids carry the meaning of rarity as they are seen as symbols of elegance, beauty, luxury and decadence. They are also a representation of love and strength.
My own interpretation focuses on the concept of rarity. Rarity because, as these vivid blue orchids may be rare, it is even more rare to build the kind of friendship I have with this special soul. A person who is good hearted, willing, high-spirited and vibrant is rare to find and I must say that there is a link between the symbol the blue orchid and the person who gave me it, as they are both quite unique, or in her own words …Fabulous.
